Quality Assurance Program
                        The
Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia has
numerous disciplines with a broad range of quality assurance
programs covering the needs of the routine clinical
                          and specialist laboratories.
Programs provide a set of uniquely designed QA specimens
and case studies which are analysed at regular intervals.
Interim graphical reports, available two weekly or monthly
for each module, provide a comprehensive breakdown of
each participant's results compared to all results,
and compared to the results of peers. Other reporting
mechanisms include an end of cycle report depicting
performance over the course of 6 months or yearly, and
also key performance indicator reports generating laboratory
                          analysis over previous years.
Ebor Computing is responsible for implementation and
maintenance of, both windows-based and internet, software
that provides data entry and reporting for the QAP program.
The windows-based software gives the RCPA QAP department
full control over enrolling laboratories, setting up
quality assurance programs, designing and printing reports
and a wealth of data analysis tools.
The internet facility services over 1000 laboratories
world wide and allows controlled secure access to data
                          entry and anlysis tools.
